Baldwin County Education Coalition’s Faith-Based Initiative is a movement to connect churches with schools in their community. Something powerful happens when a church and its members make a sustained, long-term commitment to a local school. It’s a natural progression toward meaningful community engagement. Christians who have a need to serve impact the lives of our most vulnerable – our children.
These partnerships are more important than ever as so many children are in need. Churches can provide schools with food, clothing and school supplies or financial resources for special needs or programs. Volunteers can serve as mentors, classroom aids or office assistants. The opportunities are endless!
