Work Ready Coalition
The Coalition is representing Baldwin County in a regional initiative to become a Certified Work Ready Community. The Southwest Alabama Region launched the initiative June 9. Achieving certification demonstrates a community-based framework that links workforce development to education, aligns with economic development needs, and matches individuals to jobs based on skill levels. Baldwin County is close to achieving 70 percent of goals set. Employers must register and support the process for the county to reach its goals.
